കോവിഡ്-19 സാമ്പത്തിക മേഖലയിലുണ്ടാക്കിയ കടുത്ത ആഘാതം കണക്കിലെടുത്ത് ബാങ്ക് വായ്പ എടുത്തവര്ക്ക് പരമാവധി സഹായവും ഇളവുകളും നല്കുമെന്ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി വിളിച്ച യോഗത്തില് സംസ്ഥാനതല ബാങ്കേഴ്സ് സമിതി (എസ്.എല്.ബി.സി) പ്രതിനിധികള് ഉറപ്പു നല്കി.
വായ്പയെടുത്ത സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്ക്കും വ്യക്തികള്ക്കും തിരിച്ചടവിനുള്ള കാലാവധി ദീര്ഘിപ്പിക്കുക, റിസര്വ് ബാങ്കിന്റെ നിര്ദേശം അനുസരിച്ച് വായ്പകള് പുനഃക്രമീകരിക്കുക, പലിശയില് അനുഭാവപൂര്വമായ ഇളവുകള് നല്കുക, പുതിയ വായ്പകള്ക്ക് കൂടുതല് ഇളവുകള് അനുവദിക്കുക തുടങ്ങിയ നിര്ദേശങ്ങളാണ് ബാങ്ക് പ്രതിനിധികളുടെ യോഗത്തില് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി മുന്നോട്ടുവെച്ചത്.
എസ്.എല്.ബി.സിയുടെ അടിയന്തര യോഗം ചേര്ന്ന് ആവശ്യമായ തീരുമാനങ്ങള് എടുക്കുമെന്ന് സമിതി കണ്വീനര് അജിത് കൃഷ്ണന് ഉറപ്പു നല്കി. സാമ്പത്തികമായി ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുന്നവരെ സഹായിക്കാന് സര്ക്കാര് നടത്തുന്ന ശ്രമങ്ങള്ക്ക് ബാങ്കുകള് പൂര്ണപിന്തുണ നല്കും. എസ്.എല്.ബി.സിയുടെ നിര്ദേശങ്ങള് ഉടന് റിസര്വ് ബാങ്കിന്റെ പരിഗണനയ്ക്ക് സമര്പ്പിക്കുമെന്നും അജിത് കൃഷ്ണന് അറിയിച്ചു.
കോവിഡ് പൊട്ടിപ്പുറപ്പെട്ടത് കേരളത്തിലും അസാധാരണമായ സാഹചര്യമാണ് സൃഷ്ടിച്ചതെന്ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു. കേരളത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് ദുരന്തങ്ങള് ആവര്ത്തിക്കുകയാണ്. കോവിഡ്-19 എല്ലാ മേഖലകളെയും സാരമായി ബാധിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ടൂറിസം മേഖലയാണ് ഏറ്റവുമധികം പ്രയാസപ്പെടുന്നത്. ഹോട്ടലുകള്, റെസ്റ്റോറന്റുകള്, വ്യാപാര സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള് എന്നിവയെല്ലാം പിടിച്ചുനില്ക്കാന് പാടുപെടുകയാണ്. ധാരാളം പേര്ക്ക് തൊഴിലെടുക്കാന് പറ്റാത്ത സാഹചര്യമാണ് ഇപ്പോഴുള്ളത്. യാത്രാനിയന്ത്രണവും സാമ്പത്തിക മേഖലയെ ബാധിച്ചു.
രോഗത്തെ ഫലപ്രദമായി പ്രതിരോധിക്കുന്നതോടൊപ്പം നമ്മുടെ സാമൂഹ്യ ജീവിതം മുന്നോട്ടുകൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നതിന് സാഹചര്യമൊരുക്കുകയും വേണം. അതുകൊണ്ടാണ് വായ്പ കാര്യത്തില് ബാങ്കുകള് അനുഭാവ സമീപനം എടുക്കണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നത്. പ്രളയ കാലത്ത് ബാങ്കുകള് നല്കിയതിനേക്കാള് വലിയ പിന്തുണയും സഹായവും ഈ ഘട്ടത്തില് ആവശ്യമുണ്ടെന്ന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.
യോഗത്തില് ചീഫ് സെക്രട്ടറി ടോം ജോസ്, ധനകാര്യ വകുപ്പ് സെക്രട്ടറി ആര്.കെ. സിങ്, ആസൂത്രണ വകുപ്പ് പ്രിന്സിപ്പല് സെക്രട്ടറി ഡോ. ജയതിലക്, ആര്.ബി.ഐ ജനറല് മാനേജര് വി.ആര് പ്രവീണ്കുമാര്, എ.ജി.എം. എം. മുരളീകൃഷ്ണന്, നബാര്ഡ് ജനറല് മാനേജര് ആര് ശ്രീനിവാസന് എന്നിവരും പ്രധാന ബാങ്കുകളുടെ പ്രതിനിധികളും പങ്കെടുത്തു.
