റിസര്വ് ബേങ്ക് ഇന്ന് നടത്തിയ പ്രഖ്യാപനങ്ങള് അപര്യാപ്തമെന്ന് ധനമന്ത്രി തോമസ് ഐസക്. സാഹചര്യത്തിന്റെ ഗൗരവം ആര്ബിഐ ഉള്ക്കൊള്ളുന്നില്ലെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തി.
അസാധാരണമായ സാഹചര്യമാണ് രാജ്യത്ത് നിലനില്ക്കുന്നത്. ഇത്തരമൊരു സാഹചര്യത്തില് അസാധാരണമായ ഉത്തരവ് ആര്ബിഐ പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കേണ്ടതായിരുന്നു. അറുപത് ശതമാനം പണം അധികം നല്കുമെന്ന വാഗ്ദാനം പൊള്ളയാണ്. വായ്പാ പരിധി ഉയര്ത്തണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യം അംഗീകരിക്കണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. മൊറട്ടോറിയം കാലത്തെ പലിശ ഒഴിവാക്കണം. മൊറട്ടോറിയം ഒരു വര്ഷം ആക്കണം. സുപ്രധാന വിഷയങ്ങളില് ആര്ബിഐ മൗനം പാലിക്കുന്നുവെന്നും തോമസ് ഐസക് കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്ത്തു.
കോവിഡിന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില് റിവേഴ്സ് റീപ്പോ നിരക്ക് 3.75% ശതമാനമാക്കി ആര്ബിഐ കുറച്ചിരുന്നു. അതേസമയം റിപ്പോ നിരക്കില് മാറ്റമില്ല. ബേങ്കുകള്ക്ക് 50,000 കോടി രൂപയും ആര്ബിഐ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. കോവിഡ് വ്യാപനത്തിന്റെ സാഹചര്യത്തില് പണലഭ്യത ഉറപ്പുവരുത്തുന്നതിനാണ് ഇത്. നബാര്ഡ്, സിഡ്ബി, ദേശീയ ഹൗസിംഗ് ബാങ്ക് എന്നിവയ്ക്കും 50,000 കോടി വീതം നല്കും. സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങള്ക്ക് കോവിഡ് പ്രതിരോധത്തിന് 60 ശതമാനം അധിക ഫണ്ട് അനുവദിച്ചതായും ആര്ബിഐ ഗവര്ണര് ശക്തികാന്ത ദാസ് ഇന്ന് നടത്തിയ വാര്ത്ത സമ്മേളനത്തില് പറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു
