രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ സാമ്പത്തിക സ്ഥിതി ഗുരുതരമാണെന്നും സാഹര്യങ്ങള് ആര്ബിഐ സൂക്ഷ്മമായി നിരീക്ഷിക്കുകയാണെന്നും റിസര്വ് ബാങ്ക് ഗവര്ണര് ശക്തികാന്ത ദാസ്. കൊവിഡ് സാഹചര്യം വിലയിരുത്തിയെന്നും ശക്തികാന്ത ദാസ് പറഞ്ഞു.
രാജ്യം 1.9 ശതമാനം സാമ്പത്തിക വളര്ച്ച നിലനിര്ത്തുമെന്നാണ് പ്രതീക്ഷയെന്നും ആര്ബിഐ ഗവര്ണര് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ബാങ്കുകള്ക്ക് 50,000 കോടി നല്കും. ബാങ്കിങ് ഇതര, മൈക്രോഫിനാന്സ് സ്ഥാപനങ്ങള്ക്കും ഈ തുക ലഭ്യമാക്കും. നബാര്ഡ്, സിഡ്ബി, ദേശീയ ഹൗസിങ് ബാങ്ക് എന്നിവയ്ക്കും 50,000 കോടി വീതം നല്കും. സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങള്ക്ക് കോവിഡ് പ്രതിരോധത്തിന് 60ശതമാനം അധികഫണ്ടും അനുവദിക്കും. കോവിഡ് വ്യാപനത്തിന്റെ സമയത്ത് ബാങ്കുകളും ധനകാര്യ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളും അവസരത്തിനൊത്ത് ഉയര്ന്നെന്ന് ഗവര്ണര് പറഞ്ഞു.
വിപണിയില് ധനലഭ്യത ഉറപ്പാക്കും, ബാങ്കുകളുടെ വായ്പാ സൗകര്യം ഉറപ്പാക്കും, സാമ്പത്തിക സമ്മര്ദം കുറയ്ക്കും, വിപണിയുടെ പ്രവര്ത്തനം സുഖമമാക്കും എന്നിവയാണ് ആര്ബിഐയുടെ നാല് പ്രധാന ലക്ഷ്യങ്ങള്. റിവേഴ്സ് റിപ്പോ നിരക്ക് 4.0% നിന്നു കാല് ശതമാനം കുറച്ച് 3.75 ശതമാനമാക്കി. റീപ്പോ നിരക്കില് മാറ്റം വരുത്തിയില്ല.
