പുതിയ കേസുകള് റിപ്പോര്ട്ട് ചെയ്തതോടെ സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ പത്ത് ജില്ലകളും ഓറഞ്ച് സോണിലായി. കോട്ടയം, ഇടുക്കി ജില്ലകള് നേരത്തേ ഗ്രീന് സോണിലായിരുന്നു. കാസര്കോട്, കണ്ണൂര്, കോഴിക്കോട്, മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലകള് റെഡ്സോണില് തുടരും. കണ്ണൂര്-2592, കാസര്കോട്-3126, കോഴിക്കോട്-2770, മലപ്പുറം-2465 എന്നിങ്ങനെയാണ് നിരീക്ഷണത്തില് കഴിയുന്നവരുടെ കണക്ക്.
ഓറഞ്ച് മേഖലയിലുള്ള പത്ത് ജില്ലകളിലെ ഹോട്ട്സ്പോട്ടുകളായ പഞ്ചായത്തുകള് പൂര്ണമായി അടച്ചിടും. ഒരു പഞ്ചായത്തിനെ ഒറ്റ യൂണിറ്റായാണ് കണക്കാക്കുന്നത്. എന്നാല് മുനിസിപ്പാലിറ്റി അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലാകുമ്പോള് വാര്ഡുകളാണ് അടിസ്ഥാനമാകുന്നത്. കോര്പറേഷനില് ഡിവിഷനും അടിസ്ഥാനമാകും. വാര്ഡുകളും, ഡിവിഷനും ഇതേ തരത്തില് അടച്ചിടും. ഇതില് ഏതൊക്കെ പ്രദേശമാണ് ഹോട്ട്സ്പോട്ട് പരിധിയില് വരികയെന്ന് ജില്ലാ ഭരണസംവിധാനം തീരുമാനിക്കും. അതിര്ത്തി ചെക്ക്പോസ്റ്റുകളില് ഡോക്ടര്മാരുടെ സേവനം ഉറപ്പാക്കുമെന്നും മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി വാര്ത്താ സമ്മേളനത്തില് അറിയിച്ചു.
