കേരളത്തിലെ ടൂറിസ്റ്റ് കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളില് 30 വര്ഷത്തെ വികസനം മുന്നില് കണ്ടുള്ള മാസ്റ്റര് പ്ലാന് തയ്യാറാക്കുന്നു. ഇതിലൂടെ ടൂറിസം കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളുടെ സമഗ്രമായ ഒരു വികസന റിപ്പോര്ട്ട് തയ്യാറാക്കുവാനാണ് സംസ്ഥാന സര്ക്കാര് ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നത്. കോവളം, കുമരകം, തേക്കടി, പൊന്മുടി, അഷ്ടമുടി, അതിരപ്പള്ളി, മലയാറ്റൂര്, നിലമ്പൂര്, പെരുവണ്ണാമുഴി തുടങ്ങിയ ടൂറിസം കേന്ദ്രങ്ങള്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി സമഗ്രമായ മാസ്റ്റര് പ്ലാനുകള് തയ്യാറാക്കുന്ന പ്രവൃത്തി അവസാന ഘട്ടത്തിലാണ്. ഫോര്ട്ട് കൊച്ചിയ്ക്ക് വേണ്ടിയുള്ള അന്തിമ മാസ്റ്റര്പ്ലാന് സര്ക്കാര് ഇതിനകം തന്നെ അംഗീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട ദേശീയ തലത്തിലുള്ള കണ്സള്ട്ടന്റുമാരാണ് മാസ്റ്റര്പ്ലാനുകള് തയ്യാറാക്കുന്നത്.
