കൊവിഡ് 19 വൈറസ് പ്രതിരോധത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി കേരളത്തില് എത്തുന്ന എല്ലാ വിദേശ ടൂറിസ്റ്റുകളേയും നിര്ബന്ധിത സാമ്പിള് പരിശോധനക്ക് വിധേയമാക്കും. രോഗ ലക്ഷണങ്ങള് പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചില്ലെങ്കിലും സാമ്പിള് എടുക്കും. ഇവര് പരിശോധനാ റിപ്പോര്ട്ട് വരുന്നത് വരെ ഐസൊലേഷനില് കഴിയണം. നിലവില് 25 പേര്ക്കാണ് സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് കൊവിഡ് 19 സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചത്. 31,173 പേര് നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലാണ്. 237 പേരാണ് ആശുപത്രിയിലുള്ളത്. സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഇതുവരെ അയച്ചതില് 579 ഫലങ്ങള് കൂടി ലഭിക്കാനുണ്ട്. തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് ഒരേസമയം ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല്പേര് നിരീക്ഷണത്തിലുള്ള ശ്രീചിത്ര മെഡിക്കല് ഇന്സ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടിലും വര്ക്കലയിലും ശക്തമായ ജാഗ്രത തുടരുകയാണ്.
അതേസമയം കൊവിഡ് 19ന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തലത്തില് സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് കൂടി ഓടുന്ന കൂടുതല് ട്രെയിനുകള് റദ്ദാക്കി. ഈ മാസം അവസാനം വരെ കൊച്ചുവേളി മംഗളൂരു സെന്ട്രല് അന്തോദ്യ എക്സ്പ്രസ്സ് ഇരുവശത്തേക്കും സര്വീസ് നടത്തില്ല. തിരുവനന്തപുരം തിരുച്ചിറപ്പള്ളി ഇന്റര്സിറ്റി എക്സ്പ്രസ്സും ഇരുവശത്തെക്കുമുള്ള സര്വീസുകള് റദ്ദാക്കി. 20ന് എറണാകുളത്ത് നിന്ന് ഗുവാഹത്തിയിലേക്ക് പുറപ്പെടേണ്ടിയിരുന്ന സ്പെഷ്യല് ട്രെയിന് ഉണ്ടാവില്ല. എറണാകുളം കായംകുളം, കൊല്ലംകന്യാകുമാരി റൂട്ടുകളില് മെമു ഓടില്ല. കൂടാതെ 12 പാസഞ്ചര് ട്രെയിനുകളും റദ്ദാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
