കൊവിഡ് 19 ഭീഷണിയില് വിമാനത്താവളങ്ങളെല്ലാം അടച്ചിട്ടിരിക്കെ ലോകത്തെ 14 നഗരങ്ങളിലേക്ക് പ്രത്യേക വിമാന സര്വ്വീസിന് ഒരുങ്ങി എമിറേറ്റ്സ്. ഇന്ത്യയിലെ തിരുവനന്തപുരം, കൊച്ചി, ഡല്ഹി, മുംബൈ, ഹൈദരാബാദ്, ചെന്നൈ, ബെംഗളൂരു നഗരങ്ങള് ഇതില് ഉള്പ്പെടും. യു എ ഇയില് കുടുങ്ങിക്കിടക്കുന്ന മലയാളികള് അടക്കമുള്ളവര്ക്ക് ഏറെ ഉപകാരപ്രദമാകുന്നതാണ് എമിറേറ്റ്സിന്റെ പ്രഖ്യാപനം.
ഈ മാസം ആറ് മുതലാണ് പ്രത്യേക അനുമതി വാങ്ങിയുള്ള സര്വീസുകള് തുടങ്ങുക. ആളുകളെ ഒഴിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിന് എമിറേറ്റ്സ് നേരത്തെ തന്നെ ഇന്ത്യ ഉള്പ്പെടെയുള്ള രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെ അനുമതി തേടിയിരുന്നു. അതേസമയം വിദേശ വിമാനസര്വീസുകള് അടച്ചിട്ട സാഹചര്യത്തില് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ അനുമതി ഇക്കാര്യത്തില് ലഭിക്കുമോ എന്നതിനെ ആശ്രയിച്ചിരിക്കും ഈ നടപടി. എയര് അറേബ്യയും പ്രത്യേക സര്വീസ് നടത്താന് നീക്കമാരംഭിച്ചതായി റിപ്പോര്ട്ടുണ്ട്.
