എണ്ണ വില ഇടിവ് മൂലം അറബ് രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെ സമ്പദ് വ്യവസ്ഥയില് 12 ശതമാനം ഇടിവു വരുമെന്നും ഈ നഷ്ടത്തിന്റെ സിംഹഭാഗവും എണ്ണയെ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന ഗള്ഫ് രാജ്യങ്ങളില് നിന്നായിരിക്കുമെന്നും റിപ്പോര്ട്ടിലുണ്ട്.
കൊവിഡ് പ്രതിസന്ധി കാരണം അറബ് ഗവണ്മെന്റുകളുടെ കടബാധ്യത 15 ശതമാനം വര്ധിക്കുമെന്നാണ് ഐ.എം.എഫ് കണക്കു കൂട്ടുന്നത്. നിലവിലെ നിലവാരത്തിലുള്ള എണ്ണവില ഇറാനുള്പ്പെടുന്ന എണ്ണ കയറ്റുമതിക്കാരുടെ വാര്ഷിക വരുമാനം 23 ബില്യണ് ഡോളറിലധികം നഷ്ടപ്പെടാന് ഇടയാക്കുമെന്നും റിപ്പോര്ട്ടില് പറയുന്നു.
